CLEARINGHOUSE Q&As with FMCSA COMING
Yes, the Clearinghouse is coming. January 6, 2020.  I have been getting a lot of questions and inquiries regarding the upcoming Clearinghouse. 
Question? Who will be affected by the Clearinghouse?
Answer:   All Motor Carriers both interstate and intrastate that employ CDL drivers who operate CMVs on public roads. This includes, but is not limited to:
 

Interstate and intrastate  motor carriers, including passenger carriers, School bus drivers,  Construction equipment operators, Limousine drivers, Municipal vehicle drivers (e.g., waste management vehicles) Federal and State agencies that employ drivers subject to FMCSA  drug and alcohol use testing regulations (e.g., Department of Defense, public transit) and CDL drivers of these vehicles.

One of the first items you will need when registering for the clearinghouse is your Portal Account PIN#. 

If you do not already have a PORTAL PIN# you will need to log on to: http://ai.fmcsa.dot.gov/
If you have lost of forgotten User ID or Password or need help with the Portal, the phone contact is 1-800-832-5660 Option 2.

FMCSA has scheduled additional live informational webinars to help users understand the requirements of the Clearinghouse. Because space is limited, we request that you register for only one session. A recording of the webinars will be available to all users at a later date.
