A team of researchers from the University of Nebraska, the University of New Hampshire, and the George Washington University are seeking participants for a study exploring the impact of physical spaces on emotions and attitudes at work. We are contacting you because you have been recommended as someone who may qualify for the study and might be interested in participating due to your line of work.

Qualified Participants MUST:

  • Be 18 years old or older
  • Speak and read English fluently
  • Work outside the home

We are seeking participants for a study examining how the spaces and places they work in affects attitudes and emotions at work. If you are over the age of 18 and work outside of your home, you qualify for the study! We are asking participants to describe work spaces that make them feel safe and/or secure, up to two pictures of spaces that make them feel unsafe and/or insecure, and up to two spaces that participants find “restorative” or help them cope with their job. We will also ask some questions about how you feel about your job and your organization.

If you wish to participate, you can submit your responses through a Qualtrics survey (link below) and briefly explain why these spaces make them feel this way.

We hope that you will consider participating in our study. Your involvement will be a great contribution to our research and will help us better understand how the physical features of workspaces contribute to employees’ attitudes and emotions at work.

If you meet the above-mentioned qualifications and are interested in participating, please proceed by completing the survey using the link below.
