2018 NE SuperTech Competition

Sponsorship Opportunities available 

A statewide competition among professional heavy duty diesel technicians from fleets, dealer shops and independent shops.

This competition has two events.The qualifying event is an ASE-style online test, then the top 16 qualifiers (company and shop limitations) advance to the final hands-on competition round.

The winner represents Nebraska at the National SuperTech competition hosted by the Technology and Maintenance Council of the American Trucking Associations, September 2018.

State Level Prizes:

1st: Transportation & lodging paid trip to compete at National SuperTech

2nd: $200 cash

3rd: $150 cash

Station Winners: $100 cash

Student Winner: $500 scholarship or tool voucher

Join Us for our Premier Skills Competition in 2019

At Central Community College in Hastings, Nebraska

Contestants, who come from all segments of the trucking industry, will take an ASE-style mobile-friendly online test
with the top 16 moving on to the final hands-on competition. The hands-on competition features stations designed
to measure thorough knowledge of heavy-duty commercial vehicles, including theory and practical application.

See your Diesel Technology Instructor for 2019 details


Contestants must be currently enrolled or have graduated in the last 180 days from a Diesel Technology Program at a Nebraska Community College. The winner of the Nebraska Student SuperTech Competition will receive $500 to be put towards tuition or tools.
