Proposed changes to drug testing regulations

Lowering the cutoff levels for cocaine and amphetamines are among the changes the Department of Transportation is proposing in order to comply with Department of Health and Human Services testing procedures and protocols. The rulemaking also calls for adding a screen for Ecstasy, which may slightly affect the cost of drug tests. Comments on the proposed changes are due April 5.
