Since 1980, the Nebraska Trucking Foundation has provided scholarships and grants to individuals and institutions in order to ensure a skilled workforce for the state’s trucking industry.

The Foundation provides scholarship funds to community colleges and in-state universities that offer programs specific to truck transportation, such as truck driving, diesel technology, and logistics management. The community colleges and universities determine the scholarship recipients.

A Board of Trustees governs the Foundation’s work.
